ABOUT ME
I come from a business background, with 20 years as an entrepreneur and business owner. This has given me a valuable network, which time and again shows that it can really lift society. Copenhagen has been my home for more than 30 years.
I love my children. My city. And when I make a difference for others. That's what drives me. Copenhagen needs a new voice that transforms politics from talk to action, creates green frameworks for good lives and equips our beloved Copenhagen for the future.
Why give me your vote?
The world is changing, and this also places great demands on our capital. It calls for new forces that can look at challenges with fresh eyes. The policies right now calls for a review, because in many areas it is stuck in locked processes and mindsets.
Copenhagen is my home. I have lived in the city for over 30 years, where I'm working and am involved in the city's development – Valby, Sydhavnen, Christianshavn and the Inner city have surrounded me. And it is precisely our city's diversity and different atmospheres that have shaped my understanding of what Copenhagen can and should be.
When politicians are criticized for not having a "real job", it is often because rigid rules are out of touch with real life. I would like to change that when I bring my 35 years of professional experience with me to City Hall. I have worked in many different industries, and have 20 years as an independent entrepreneur behind me. This means that I have both experience in leading and creating growth, and that I know the challenges that can arise when dealing with the system.
As a father of five, I know how important it is that everyday life works.
